Secular Spaces, Passing Impressions, Columbus, Ohio

An exhibition of current works titled “Secular Spaces, Passing Impressions”(2022) is on display at the Parlor Suites Exhibition space on 35 E. Gay Street, Suite 331 in downtown Columbus Ohio. An opening reception took place on August 26. Many of the pieces on display are a mixture of intaglio etchings in conjunction with Japanese woodblock printing joined in the final edition process. They reflect the artist’s aim to blend these soft passages of select color elements within a series of landscape construts.


A one-man retrospective of the media works of Ohio artist Craig Fisher will be on display physically (and virtually on the Artlink website https://www.artlinkfw.org/impressions-of-the-monumental ArtLink Contemporary Gallery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. A collection of paintings, mixed media drawings and prints will be on-display from January 14, 2021 through February 7, 2021 at Artlink, 300 E. Main St. Fort Wayne, IN 46802.
37th Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition
Three original prints by Toledo Artist Craig Fisher have been accepted into the 37th Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition. This prestigious Midwestern exhibition will be open from March 9th – April 12th, 2019. The Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition is the second-longest running juried print and drawing competition in the country. Every two years it features the best contemporary graphic artwork from around the globe. The
Exhibition will be on display at Heuser Art Gallery, Hartmann Center Gallery, Illinois Central College Performing Arts Center, Peoria Art Guild, Prairie Center of the Arts, Contemporary Art Center of Peoria, and Studios on Sheridan.

Intaglio Chine Collé aquatint “The Transit of Venus” was accepted into Art from the Heartland, The Art Center’s biennial regional competition. The exhibition returns in 2018 to showcase the diverse talent of artists living in the Midwest. Open to artists from Indiana and surrounding states, Art From the Heartland is a comprehensive take on contemporary art in America’s Crossroads. Juried by a guest curator, this exhibition will fill four of our galleries throughout the summer and award $4000 in prizes to some of the region’s most exciting and ground-breaking artists.
Two works were recently accepted into PaperWorks 2018 exhibit at the Upstream Gallery, at Hastings-on-Hudson.Since 1991 Upstream has been a unique community of arts professionals whose members work together cooperatively to maintain a unique exhibition space. Paperworks 2018 solicited works around “The inventive eye” Observation,Transformation and The Art of Seeing”. The Exhibition was curated by James Lance McElhinney, Artist, publisher and recepient for numbers honors.

Let’s Get Political!
A two color aquatint etching by Craig Fisher titled “Who’s watching the Watchman” was accepted into the exhibition Political Impressions , The Print Club of Rochester International Print Exhibition to be shown at the Bevier Gallery on the campus of the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. Exhibition dates June 8-August 11, 2018.

A colored mezzotint “The Grotto” was accepted into the 2018 Print Exhibition at Ft. Wayne’s Artlink. This exhibition, in its 38th year, will feature contemporary printmakers working in all printmaking mediums, including intaglio, lithographs, relief, screenprints, monoprints, letterpress, artist books, digital prints and print installations. This year, we are honored to have Liz Maugans, printmaker and co-founder of Zygote Press, as the juror of this exhibition.

Good News from Artlink! An 18″ x 24″ mezzotint “The Grotto” received a juror”s award by Liz Maugans for the 38th National Print Exhibition.
